Sabìr by dap – Luigia d'Alfonso and Ada Perla come back to New York City for SHEIS…2020

March 17 - 21 at One Art Space Gallery

After their successful solo show held in the city, last September, 'dap – Luigia d'Alfonso and Ada Perla' will be part of #SHEIS…2020, the multi-disciplinary art group exhibition organized by One Art Space Gallery in TriBeCa.

'dap' will exhibit the Sabìr "Repercussions," dedicated to gender-based violence that tears the entire society with visible and hidden injuries. This Sabìr deflagrated by wounds radiates, like a harmonic box, the echo of pain.

Furthermore, dap will present a new small and stunning artwork entitled 'LaQueSabe' inspired by a passage taken from a book by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. It's a little masterpiece born from the everlasting search process that characterizes their art.

'LaQueSabe' is not on fabric but on metal - a new material they are experimenting – that produces a breakthrough pictorial effect resulting from the wise use of organic colors and oxidation.

#SHEIS…2020 is taking place at One Art Space Gallery, 23 Warren Street, New York, from March 17th to March 21st
